Health & Safety Policy
Introduction
The health and safety of our employees, associates, clients, and supply partners are paramount. Our team often operates on client or supplier sites, and we are committed to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment in all locations.
Responsibilities
- Management Commitment: Our management team is dedicated to providing the necessary resources and support to maintain a safe working environment. We will comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.
- Employee and Associate Responsibilities: All employees and associates are expected to take reasonable care for their own health and safety, as well as that of others who may be affected by their actions. This includes following all safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents.
Risk Assessment
- Site Assessments: Before commencing work on any client site, employees and associates must seek guidance from the client to identify potential hazards. Client induction procedures should be followed, and our employees and associates must comply with all applicable rules and regulations whilst working on client sites.
- Preventative Measures: Appropriate measures will be taken to mitigate identified risks. This may include providing personal protective equipment (PPE), implementing safe working procedures, and ensuring all equipment is maintained in good working order.
Training and Communication
- Health and Safety Training: All employees and associates should attend training on health and safety practices, including emergency procedures and how to handle site-specific risks, where requested by clients.
- Clear Communication: We will maintain open lines of communication with our clients to ensure that all health and safety information is shared and understood. Any changes to site conditions or safety procedures will be promptly communicated to all relevant parties.
Emergency Preparedness
- Emergency Procedures: Employees and associates must familiarise themselves with the emergency procedures that are applicable on the site in which they are working. If in doubt, ask.
- Incident Reporting: All incidents, no matter how minor, must be reported in writing immediately to the client and registered with Inspiring Group senior management.
Continuous Improvement
- Regular Review: Our health and safety policy will be regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changes in legislation, industry best practices, and feedback from employees, associates and clients.
Conclusion
We are committed to maintaining a culture of safety. By prioritising health and safety in all our operations, we aim to protect our employees, associates, clients, and partners, ensuring a safe and productive working environment.
